Broad Background

In addition to the practice of law, for over forty-five years he has been actively involved in the acquisition, development, ownership and management of real estate ventures. RSM Development and Management owns and operates approximately one million square feet of commercial properties in southeastern Michigan. He also is and has been an advisor to and investor in small businesses including serving as the Chair of CAVU International, L.L.C. On a personal level, he spent eleven years on active duty in the Navy serving on nuclear submarines and at the Navy Strategic Systems Project Office. He has been very involved in non-profit organizations including serving as the Chair of the Southeastern Michigan Social Impact Leadership Collaborative and he continues to be involved in other community and charitable activities.
